Blood donation camp organised by ICYM Bantwal unit

Bantwal, Sep 24: ICYM here organised a blood donation camp on September 23 at the Church hall here in collaboration with ICYM of the deanery, here, Catholic Sabha Bantwal, Lions and Lioness Club, Bantwal and Fr Muller Charitable Institutions.

The programme began with a prayer song led by ICYM members.

Minol Braggs, secretary ICYM Bantwal deanery welcomed the gathering.

Fr Maxim Noronha, parish priest presided over the function and gave the presidential address. The dignitaries on the dias inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. Dr Christina Goveas enlightened the audience on the importance of donating blood. Annet Dsouza, secretary ICYM Bantwal unit delivered the vote of thanks.



The programme was compered by Melisha Dsouza, a member of the ICYM. With this, the formal function came to an end which was followed by blood donation by the donors. Around 60 donors donated blood. The programme was conducted under the guidance of Sunil Lewis, the ICYM animator. ICYM president Avinash Dsouza and secretary Annet Dsouza co-ordinated the programme.

The blood donation camp received appreciation from all and thus turned out to be a successful event.
