Mangaluru, Jul 16: A case has been registered at Pandeshwar police station regarding the theft of a scooter that was parked near Forum Fiza Mall, which was stolen by thieves.
A madrasa teacher had parked his scooter outside the compound of the mall at around 6.30 pm on June 8 and went inside the mall. When he returned at 8.30 pm, the scooter was parked in the same place but the key of his scooter was missing. He could not recall as to where he has left the key of the scooter. He searched in the vicinity of the mall for the key but could not find the same.
The teacher decided to go to his home and fetch the other spare key for the scooter. When he came back from home after fetching the spare key, to his utter surprise, the scooter was stolen by the thieves and left the teacher with only the key.
Pandeshwar police are investigating further.
