Still i remember the good perfromence by one male contestent excellent rappo with audiance .If he keeps his practice he can give some great things to Konkani songs ( i dont want to commemt name )hope many audiance agree with me Congrats Our winners Asha & Dony, Do your best & get the crown for U A E.

Congratulations to Donald Correa and Asha Fernandes for emerging asthe winners of " Gulf Voice of Mangalore " UAE Edition.Truely both the Contestants deserved this awards.No Doubt it was their Sheer dedication has brought this laurels to both Dony and Asha. Kudos to Mangalorean Konkans for hosting such a wonderful event.All the Konkani speaking Mangaloreans and Mother Konkani proud on you.
Although it was a wonderful organised show I have my own reservation on certain things : aa : Only one song was allowed to each participant which I feel in no way justifying the talents of contestants. bb : Songs ed by most of the contenstants are more or less on same subject. cc : Hardly any variation found in the singing. dd : Most of the contestants are failed to reach the depth of the songs hence contestants had failed to reach out the audience with real feelings of the song. ee : With Due respect to all the distinguished Judges , I felt that organizers should the judges randomly after each song for their review.Instead judges were giving their views in a serial order.It's only my feeling that by doing so other judges may not reviewed / scruitinized fully the technical aspects of other contestants which they do not have to review. ff : By reviewing in serial order Mr Melwyn Peris got a chance to review the singer of his own Song which i feel should be avoided in such a mega event like this. gg : Most of the contestants replying to Judges and to Compere in English which make me feel like they are participated only for fame and lot for their Love on Konkani. hh : No doubt it was a very well organized programme.
But I had surprised to see the mess happened during Certificate distributing ceremony to contestants.Hope Mangalore Konkans Will take a note of the same.
