Bantwal: Car hits bus stop, turns turtle – passengers injured

Bantwal, Jul 14: A car hit the bus stop at Talapady near here on Bengaluru-Mangaluru highway on Friday, July 13.

Two of the passengers suffered minor injuries. They are from Maripalla.

The car was moving to Mangaluru from B C Road. When it reached Talapady, it hit the bus stop situated at a curve and as a result, turned turtle.

The car has been completely damaged.



Eye witnesses said it was a miraculous escape for passengers.

    Over speed and loosing control over the vehicle is the main cause for this type of accidents indeed.

    When a young person starts a vehicle, it instantly begins to profess love to a stationary object by the side of the road.

    A power pole, a tree, a slab. Possibly a bus stop.

    Looking at the condition of the car, it was certainly driven by a young person.
