Mangaluru: Beary short story writing contest to be organized

Mangaluru, Apr 26: With an intention to promote Beary language, a short story writing contest has been organized by the Beary Literature and Cultural Association.

The first, second and third prize winners will win attractive cash prizes and the short stories will be published in 'Beary Varthe' magazine.

Translated short stories will not be accepted in the contest. Those who are willing to take part in the contest must send their short stories by May 20 to Beary Literature and Cultural Association, Bantwal Chambers, Baikampady, Mangaluru - 575011 or email it to info@bearyvarthe.com.

The word limit must not exceed 200 for the short stories. Participants also can send their stories through Whatsapp number 7899671325, informed association general secretary Umar U H in a release.
