Moodbidri, Apr 22: A person who had suffered serious injuries after his motor bike was knocked down by a car on the night of Friday April 20 near the election-related check post set up at Gantalkatte, died at a hospital where he was being treated, on Saturday April 21. The victim of this accident happened to be Muhammed Shariff (39).
Shariff was going to Moodbidri from his home on the night of Friday when a car that was moving towards Venoor from the town had hit his vehicle at Gantalkatte. Muhammed, who had suffered grave injuries, was rushed to a private hospital at Mangaluru.
Shariff has left behind wife and three daughters. The police of the town station have registered a case against car driver, Vijay Gowda.
