Bengaluru: S M Krishna who left Congress citing shoddy treatment upset with BJP?

Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru (DC)

Bengaluru, Apr 3: Former Chief Minister of Karnataka and external affairs minister S M Krishna left the Congress and joined the BJP a year ago. Many political observers opined that the seasoned politician would be given a significant job by the BJP making use of his vast experience.

But the things seem to stand still for one of the tallest political figures in the Indian politics, as the BJP is in mood to give any top post in the party. The BJP too is giving the same treatment to him as the Congress, which he alleged as one of the reasons for his decision to leave the grand old party.

Reports say that S M Krishna is leading a quiet life in his residence in Bengaluru with his books and tennis.

Krishna was last seen with the BJP leaders during 'Parivarthana Yatre'. As per reports, he is expecting a ticket for his daughter Shambhavi from Maddur constituency in Mandya or Rajarajeshwarinagar in Bengaluru.

The 85-year-old politician has often said that he was not unhappy with the BJP, but he has not answered why he kept himself away from attending the party events, unlike many BJP bigwigs at the national level, especially when the assembly elections are due in a month. Though both the BJP and he has denied reports of being ignored in the party, it is yet to be decided whether the High Command will honour his wish of a ticket to his daughter.

Karnataka assembly polls will be held on May 12 and the results will be out on May 15.

SM Krishna is one of the most favourite politician as during his tenure as Karnataka CM, our state transformed as IT valley of the world. He is efficient and capable leader. But he went to BJP like a shameless person even though he enjoyed most of the governing position, when he was in Congress.

Now he deserves what he is facing...

S M Krishna left Congress and joined BJP only because Modi & Amit Shah threatened Krishna with Income Tax raid on Coffee Day and other Businesses of his son in law Siddhartha. So Krishna succumbed to the pressure from his Son in law and Amit Shah-Modi. But now he is regretting badly. At least now he can declare retirement from politics . This may send some positive messages to the Karnataka Voters and make them vote for Congress or JDS. This will be a sweet revenge on behalf of Krishna.

S.M. Krishna could have retired from active politics whilst remaining in the Congress as a Respected Leaders. It was Congress that gave him the CM's position in Karnataka, it was Congress made him the Foreign Minister of India. He was respected all round; what made him to jump the gun and join a Jumla Party at the fag end of his political career. No sympathy.
