Puttur: Spark from electric transformer – two houses gutted in fire

Puttur, Mar 24: In an unfortunate incident that occurred on Friday, March 23, two houses were gutted in a fire due to an electric spark that fell on them from a nearby electric transformer. This matter is reported from Kermayi Colony of 102nd Nekkiladi village near Kadaba here.

The houses belonging to Ravi Mestri and Selvamani are the ones that came under the fire. Electrical and electronic equipment in the houses like TV, refrigerator, laptop and other household items were reduced to ashes because of the intensity of the fire.

Locals tried to put off the fire as soon as it started. Later personnel from Puttur fire service station arrived and did the needful.
