Mangaluru: Policeman suspended for assaulting Congress workers during Rahul visit?

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, Mar 21: Thousands of youth Congress workers had gathered at Kallapu overbridge and Ullal Dargah during the visit of All India Congress Committee president, Rahul Gandhi, on Tuesday March 20.

Because of the huge crowd, there was jostling and melee. The police then resorted to assaulting young Congressmen on this occasion.

Youth Congress workers had raised objection to this action of the police.

Sources said that the city police commissioner, who immediately rushed to the spot, issued orders suspending the policeman involved.

However, there has been no official confirmation of the suspension. Sources also said that a decision is yet to be taken.

A show cause notice was also served on deputy commissioner of police, it is learnt.

It is gathered that the chief minister had directed the officials to act against erring officials based on request made by minister U T Khader.

He must be a member of Target Group operating from Ullal... and might be trying to stirr problem in Khadar's constituency for murder of Illyaas...
Some readers say he is a MORAL POLICE.... Of course YES - It is true . Those who does not have Moral and discipline are unfit to become a Cop and during recruitment they undergo all the test and exams by IPS Cadre... if you don't have knowledge better ask the concerned Police Officer and for that matter all Policemen including Commissioner, SP, IG, DIG are also Moral and Disciplined police.... because they respect publics and try hard to maintain law and order and do their best....
Simply blaming some one who is not related to the incident shows lack of knowledge and understanding...

India is approaching towards CONGRESS MUKT BHARAT. The current assembly elections results of Tripura, Nagaland and Meghalaya is a grave danger for Congress as well as non-BJP ruled states where that govt is providing corrupt and bad governance. In last five years, the people of the country have clearly set trend to defeat corrupt and non-performing govt. The people of the country will now not vote for corrupt and worst governed state. This also matters of grave concern for BJP govt which failed miserably in curbing CORRUPTION as promised by BJP TOP LEADERS before LOK SABHA elections and subsequent assembly elections. BJP had a chance to set an example of honesty and good governance at least in BJP RULED STATES but BJP miserably failed to do so. This will result in the uphill task for BJP to win future assembly and especially Lok Sabha election in 2019. So BJP must enforce the new non-bailable ANTI-CORRUPTION law provisioning for the death sentence and seizure of all assets if it wants smooth sailing in future elections. Otherwise, BJP will also face defeat like Congress in future elections for failure to curb CORRUPTION especially in the BJP RULED STATES'.
