Mangaluru: New members of SIRC's city branch of ICAI elected

Mangaluru, Feb 20: New members of the Southern India Regional Council (SIRC) of Institute of Charted Accountants of India’s (ICAI) Mangaluru branch were elected for the year 2018-19.

CA Shivananda Pai B was elected as chairman, CA Ananthapadmanabha as vice-chairman, CA Raviraj B as secretary, CA K Subramanya Kamath as treasurer, CA A R Musba as SUCASA chairman, and CA Keshava Ballukaraya, CA Bhargava Tantri, CA Aravindakrishna and CA Edyl D’Silva as members.

SIRC was formed to serve the members and students in southern region of India. It has 45 branches, 11 CPE Study Circle, 3 CPE Chapters, 7 CPE Study Groups and 16 CPE Study Circle to members in industry spread across the states of Tamil Nadu, Telengana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Union Territory of Pondicherry with about 53811 members and about 3,00,000 students. The SIRC is the knowledge hub of the profession, providing continuing professional education to its members and students.
