Mangaluru, Jan 26: The police on Friday January 26 arrested two more persons in connection to the murder of Shivaraj at Tannirbavi here earlier this week.
The arrested have been identified as Jeevan Pereira alias Jeevan (36), a resident of Tannirbavi, and Satish alias Sachu alias Satish Gowdappa (29), a native of Bagalkot, who is currently residing at Bengre here.
Shivaraj was murdered by three assailants early morning on January 22 at his brother's house in Tannirbavi. The same evening, the police arrested three accused, namely Sunil Poojary (32), Dheeraj (25) and Mallesh alias Madesh (23), who are now in judicial custody.
Jeevan and Satish are the ones who helped in hatching the murder conspiracy, police said. They had been absconding until now.
They were arrested by the anti-rowdy squad led by Mangaluru north sub-division ACP Rajendra D S.
Further investigations are on.
