This is a good news for not only Brahmavar but also the Udipi Diocese. More and more pilgrims will now find their pathway towards St. Mary's Cathedral, and therefore the town of Brahmavar will continue to receive Government support for continued progress of the town and the surrounding areas. Tourism helps the area to grow with more and more visitors, and that will help the local community with new hotels, motels, restaurants and shopping that will bring economic boost to the town of Brahmavar.
