Mumbai: Malaika group holds annual get together

Mumbai, Dec 29: “Today's generation needs to keep away from inequality, fanaticism, discrimination, exploitation and superstition. A life of harmony will be possible when one defeats them and inculcates human values and ideals. These kind of get togethers are conducive to them. Bearing this in mind, our organization has held the annual get together programme identifying the services of workers and customers, honoring them and to live in harmony. This will be helpful to follow our ideals. Change will be easy if each one does as said,” said Gilbert Baptist, executive president of Malaika group of organizations.

He spoke at the annual get together for 2017 held on the lawns of Hardik Palace Hotel, Mira road east on Wednesday evening, December 27 by Malaika group, a household name for Tulu Kannadigas in the sale and distribution of household appliances.



Varna Industries Private Limited managing director Prakash Bhat Mudipu, Varna organization vice president Poornananda Sheregar, Malaika group director Marcelina G Baptist, Malaika Baptist, Anil Jigar Popthani, Yashika G Baptist, Jessy D'Souza, Jithendra Pardeshi and other elite were present.

Senior staff of the organization, Chandrashekar Naik, Suresh Savanth, Nandalal Tiwari, Rithesh Shah, Malaika Multi state cooperative credit society's Ranji Jose and colleagues were presented achievement panels. Prasanna Bide, Rakesh Atani, Sunil Chavan, Afzal Sheikh and Ajay Yadav were presented certificates and felicitated. Supritha P Bide, Sharath C Sudarshan, Shivani S Mishra were presented scholarships. Dahisar branch of shops spread across the state was presented best branch award for maximum business and Mahendra Savadekar was presented best officer of the year award.

Malaika group senior officers Elcy J Rodrigues, Manohar R Shetty, Teja Ravindra Shetty, Sushanth S Sabath, Lovell Baptist, Prakash Kotian, Raman Aiyyar, Sadanand Kunder, Krishna Poojary Shambhooru, Alban Noronha, Sunder Poojary and others were present.

Malaika Baptist welcomed everyone. Ronald Menezes delivered the keynote address and compered the programme. Prakash Kotian sang songs. K Suresh performed a magic show and entertained the gathering. Santhosh Tingalaya proposed the vote of thanks.
