All other major cities of India are in process of Metro Train Transport system. Instead of Bus Terminal it should be Metro Terminal at Pumpwell connecting initially western side from Suratkal to Pumpwell and Eastern side Faringpet to Pumpwelll.

Oh new bus stand finally approved ??? So how many more years you people need to start the work ! I am not saying completing the task I am speaking about starting the work!! Few days back I saw a gentlemen had uploaded a video regarding condition of road of Pumpwell to Kankanady!! Within two days they repaired the road but again the condition was same !! First of all concentrate on improvement of roads in Mangalore ! Complete the task of Pumpwell fly over first then you can think about bus stand. Now I am 25 hopefully when I am 50 they will complete Pumpwell fly over task. #DONTWASTEPEOPLESTAXMONEY

First abolish the private city, express, service buses and see the difference. Standard of travel by State Govt. run buses will be a pleasure. Hope the bus terminal at Pumpwell finally as some result. There should be one terminal at Kottar too. I have been hearing about the coming of terminal's since last 20 year's.

This will not possible at any cost. If they shift the bus stand to Mahaveer circle, then also all buses will come to State bank and take a round. City will be congested with traffic like before.

I challenge that they will come to city to pick up passengers and the buses while comming they will drop where ever they like without entering the city.

In any case buses will have to ply between Pumpwell and State Bank since people who travel to the city usually have work or business in and around Kankanady, Hampankatta, Kodialbail and Bunder areas. So city and service buses terminating at Pumpwell or Kottara will not benefit the daily commuters.
