Udupi: Countdown for three day historical Dharma Sansad begins

Udupi, Nov 23: Prof M B Puranik, chief secretary, Dharma Sansad addressing media persons on Wednesday November 22, at Royal Gardens said, "The three day countdown for the historical Dharma Sansad and first Hindu Samajotsava begins. The reception committee under the guidance of Rajarshi Dr Veerendra Heggade and Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji of Paryaya Pejawar math is all set to welcome the delegates, VIPs and seers from various parts of the nation.

"The sadhus and sharanas will be welcomed in traditional Poornakumbha at Jodukatte near Diana Hotel. The procession will pass through Court Road, Diana circle, Alankar, service bus stand - city bus stand and culminate at Kalsanka Royal Garden. Over 500 managers and 1000 volunteers are appointed for the smooth functioning of the summit.

"The names assigned for the two platforms are Narayana Guru Sabha Bhavan and Bharannayya Vedike, as they have dedicated their lives for the enhancement of Hindu Dharma. Around 150 saints can be accommodated together on the dais.

On Thursday, November 23, the 'Hindu Vaibhava' exhibition will be inaugurated by RSS leader Bhagaya to carry forward the rich cultural Hindu heritage, art, spirituality, the glorious empire, yoga, Ayurveda and other subjects. He invites youth and students to participate in the pradarshini in great numbers. It will be open to the public from November 24 to 26. The committee has sent a circular to all educational institutes through DDPI for students to take part. More than thousands of seers, saints and spiritual leaders are expected to participate in the historical summit. RSS Sarasangha Sanchalak Dr Mohan Rao Bhagwat will deliver the keynote address at the inauguration.

"The Dharma Sansad will be inaugurated by Sri Madrambhapuri Veers Simhasandheeshwara, Sri Veers Someshwara Raja Deshikendra Shivacharya, Bhagavathpada. Sri Nirmalanandanatha of Adichunchanagiri will release a souvenir.

"The first day's session will have a seminar on Ram Janmabhoomi, future pathway of construction of Ram Mandir, cow protection and its conservation. On the second day, a session on creation of social harmony will be held in the morning and prevention of conversion, protection of Hindu culture and its promotion will be held in the afternoon. There will be entertaining cultural programmes from 8.15 pm to 9.45 pm on these days performed by students of Alva's institute.

"As this is not a platform for finding solutions to political problems, but purely related to spiritual subjects, we have not invited any political leaders except Uma Bharti and Yogi Adityanath. The other political leaders can participate in the Sansad as devotees. Important resolutions will be taken on the second day.

"Sri Krishna Prasada Bhavan will serve food to the participants and delegates as well. A formal inaugural function will be held at Rajangana stadium of Sri Krishna temple in the morning of the first day.

"On the third day, important resolutions will be announced during the Hindu Samajotsava which will be held at MGM group.

"A grand procession in traditional style of sadhus and saints will take place. 1000 pontiffs, math heads are expected to participate.

Gopal G, VHP leader said, "We are likely to discuss serious social evils namely social discrimination, inequality, conversion. No government has the right to take governance of the temple. The administration of temples, maths should be in the hands of the respective temples and maths. Population control and other issues are likely to come up for discussion as well.

"National senior level leaders Praveen bai Thogadia, VHP senior leader Ashok Singhal, Bharath Chaugule, Champath Roy, Dineshchandra Ji are likely to participate in the Dharma Sansad.

"Top personalities Ravishankar Guruji, Mata Amritanandamayi, Siddhaganga math Swamiji, Suttur math swamiji, CM Yogi Adityanath will participate in the session. UP CM Yogi Adityanath will be the chief speaker at the Hindu Samajotsava scheduled on November 26.

"Accommodation for all seers and saints is booked and people are ready to welcome and accomodate them in their houses.

"The three day Dharma Sansad will culminate in Hindu Samajotsava. This historical event will be the future index in the development of India. The entire event will be held under the leadership of Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji and under the guidance of Dr Veerendra Heggade.

Saharan Pumpwell, regional convener, Bhajrang Dal, Vilas Nayak, district president Vishwa Hindu Parishad and others were present.

    Why simply wasting money. please donate it to poor people. bcz getting nothing from so called hindu samajotsava. Just creating gap between through non sense speeches. please allow Indians to leave in peace. Sangh parivar not belong to sanathan dharma or real hindu society. Every time before election sangh parivar arranging hindu samajotsava !

    Why didn't you advise our CM to not to celebrate Tippu jayanthi by using /wasting general public money..same money could have been donated to poor people . one must learn to respect other religions celebrations also by not giving it a political color every time.
