Dubai, Nov 18: Clarks Exotica Resort and Spa, promoted by well-known NRI entrepreneur and philanthropist Ronald Colaco, is easily the shining jewel in India's hospitality crown. The resort, a favourite among families for its breathtaking, refreshingly beautiful environment coupled with state-of-the-art facilities, has created a niche for itself in the world of hospitality across the globe. Adding yet another feather to its ever-brimming cap, Clarks Exotica on November 15 received the prestigious Bizz Business Excellence Award and was recognized with the special Peak of Success trophy.
The Bizz Awards are presented by World Confederation of Businesses (WORLDCOB), a leading organisation that encourages business development worldwide. WORLDCOB has been presenting the Bizz Awards for excellence in business since 2005 in different cities around the world.
This award was announced during 2016 but participation in any of the award ceremonies held during that year (in Monte Carlo, Washington DC and Morocco), was not possible either for Ronald Colaco or for any of the hotel executives. Therefore Ronald Colaco and Clarks Exotica vice-president Balaji M opted to receive this award on November 15 in the Bizz Award gala ceremony held at the world famous 7-Star Burj Al Arab Hotel in Dubai, UAE.
Among the various prestigious awards, the acclaimed Peak of Success Award was conferred upon Clarks Exotica Resort & Spa for its globally recognized business excellence.
Over 60 awards were bestowed on various industries in different categories, drawn from several countries in the world that include Europe, USA, Australia, Africa and Middle East region. Clarks Exotica Resort and Spa has remained prominent in the Evaluation Criteria for it's business excellence, leadership, quality of services, systems management, innovation and creativity, CSR and overall achievements, as confirmed by the evaluation committee of WORLDCOB in their letter.
After receiving the award, Ronald Colaco thanked Jesus Moran, CEO of WORLDCOB and Nicholas for this coveted award, also stating that this being the second award from WORLDCOB and also having received a total of 14 international awards and 6 national awards for Clarks Exotica.
During the side interview with WORLDCOB, Colaco stated that he is dedicating this award to the excellent team of Clarks Exotica, comprising HR director Nilisha, who is the recipient of Karnataka's Top HR Leader Award hosted by World HRD Congress, F&B director Varun and many other HoDs, headed by very dynamic vice president Balaji and able guidance of managing director Vivek Kumar, for their continuous dedicated team effort in taking Clarks Exotica to this level of success of excellence in quality of service which qualified them to receive several awards.

During the interview, Colaco also highlighted about the recently concluded International Cancer Congress (ICC) held in one of the largest convention centers of Clarks Exotica, where more than 4,500 cancer specialist doctors from various parts of the world including the director of Center for Global Health and US National Cancer Institute, NIH, USA participated. This conference was held for 5 days from November 8 to 12.
During the concluding ceremony the secretary general appreciated profusely Clarks Exotica for its quality of service, provision of facilities, overall hygiene, quality and taste of cuisine served as the best and a class apart to the full satisfaction of all the delegates, without a single complaint whatsoever.
Therefore, Colaco remarked that this level of appreciation, from such esteemed delegates is the best reward that one can cherish.
The Clarks Exotica Resort & Spa is managed by Vivek Kumar whose family owns Varanasi Palace and a number of 5-star hotels in Jaipur, Lucknow, Rajasthan, Delhi and other places.
