Mysuru: Worried over poor performance, pharmacy student kills himself

Mysuru, Oct 19: Frustrated at his low marks in the examination, a pharmacy student ended his life on the night of Tuesday October 17 at Shivarathreeshwara Nagar here. He hanged himself at his home after returning from college on Tuesday.

The deceased was Pavan Kumar (20) from Kanaganahalli in Pandavapura. He was studying in a pharmacy college located near Banni Mantap in the city. Pavan was depressed at the extremely low scores he got in internal assessment, it is gathered.

Pavan was a first year B Pharma degree student. Police have registered a case of unnatural death and launched an investigation.
