Father Theophilus has been a friend of our family for over 50 years. We loved his cheerful nature, his sense of humour and simplicity. We met him last less than a week before his demise. Rest in peace...

Fr. Theophil Pereira, you were a man of God and a man for the people; an exemplary priest in you embodied the virtues of humility and sanctity. You are remembered in Ujire/Dayalbagh area as the one who gave bread for the hungry and shelter for the homeless. In Ambikanagar and Karaikal, Bhatkal of Karwar diocese you were an amazing grace, a loving Pastor. You are today remembered fondly as "Katnatkada Malla Gurkulu and Amcho Padryab". Intercede for us in heaven.

Heartfelt condolences to all Capuchin Fathers on the sad demise of Fr. Theophil Pereira, who is very
simple and down to earth priest. He was instrumental in making Dayal bagh Ujire lively place of work and worship in 1980s. May God give him eternal rest in peace.
