Roop Durgapal working on fitness after eye injury

Mumbai, Sep 20 (IANS): Actress Roop Durgapal, who was homebound for a while due to an eye injury, says she has started working out again and would love to resume work soon.

The actress was last seen in the show "Waaris" earlier this year. Now, she is keeping herself busy by learning how to play the guitar.

"Being a singer too, I felt it would be nice to play an instrument along with humming. I have started working out again after almost two months as I was abroad for a promotional event and then suffered an eye injury which kept me home for several weeks," Roop told IANS.

Roop, who impressed many with her act in "Balika Vadhu" that dealt with child marriage, says she would love to do a love story or a socially relevant drama show.

"I am getting fitter and would love to be back with a bang soon. I have got several calls for meetings and auditions. I would love to do a love story or a socially relevant drama. Something on the lines of Netflix originals. I would love to explore the big screen too," she said.
