Incessant rains, sudden release of dam waters in Mangalore could have caused the sudden swell in the waters at the Nagarmadi falls near Chendia Karnataka NH 17 which resulted in the unfortunate death of six from Goa.

. With all bodies found, one can only describe this as an act of god . There was not human fault as is believed to be. Monsoons have in recent years attracted a number of people to enjoy the vagaries of the monsoons at water falls in Goa and neighboring states.

May the Almighty grant them eternal rest; and solace to the members of the bereaved families.
