Mangaluru: Team jerseys of 'Lagori Tulunadu Cup' unveiled in a splendid ceremony

Mangaluru, Jun 19: Team jerseys of 'Lagori Tulunadu Cup 2017' were unveiled in a grand ceremony at Forum Fiza mall here on Sunday, June 18, ahead of the tournament that is scheduled to begin at Karavali Utsav ground on June 25.

Tulu film director Ranjith Suvarna inaugurated the programme. The event was attended by a large number of Coastalwood celebrities including the entire cast and crew of the upcoming Tulu film 'Umil'.

Swasthik Lagori Friends, Spirit Warriors Jara, Hanuman Logorians Bolar, Maruthi Friends, Shanmuka Sports Club, Ace Promoters and Developers, Friends Chitrapura, AK Friends, Barke Strikers, NSS Nirchal, Garuda Chokkadi, KVT Guys, Dream Killers, Beach Guys Iddya, Veeranjanaya Friends, Merlapadav Breakers, Dream Chasers, Team Daijiworld, Panchashree and Mahamaayi Friends are the twenty teams from Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Kasargod districts who are ready to fight it out for the coveted trophy.

Sharmila compered the programme.

Lakshmish Bhandary, director, Bhandary Builders; Rajesh, marketing head, Bhadary Builders; Amith Raj, proprietor, Inglove Ventures; Deepak Ganguli, proprietor, Pathway Enterprises; and partners Samarth Bhat, Rateesh Karkera, Varshil Anchan were also present.

Pathway Enterprises and Bhandary Builders are all set to revive childhood memories through 'Lagori Tulunadu Cup 2017'. Winners will be awarded with Rs 30,000 while the runner up will bag Rs 15,000. Rules and regulations will be followed as per the guidelines issued by Indian Lagori Federation. Two trainers will train the players.
