Dubai, May 31: ‘Chinthnam’, a magical Konkani musical album produced by Band Charitra was unveiled by Benedict Pinto and Preethi Pinto at Winny’s restaurant Karama on Saturday, May 27.
Chairman of Al Kalidiya group Benedict Pinto, chairman of Merit Freight Shipping and Konkani patron Joseph Mathias, Dayan Mukamar from Daiji Dubai, president of Mangalore Konkans Alwyn Pinto, supporter of Band Charitra Roshan D’Silva along with Loy Valentine released the album. Team Charitra and the supporters of band witnessed the moment.
Speaking on the occasion, guests appreciated the team Charitra for their contribution towards Konkani music and encouraged and wished all the success for their future projects.
Roshan D’silva introduced the talents behind the band. They are, Melwyn D’souza, Loy Valentine Saldanha, Ian Sachin Saldanha, Patson Periera and Rikith Leonard Soans. Through Vamanjooreans UAE, Band Charitra exhibited their talent for the first time in UAE. After that they have performed in Qatar, Oman and in all over India. Their music with modern innovations makes even non-Konkani people to love Konkani songs.
Loy Valentine Saldanha and Melwyn D’Souza on behalf of Band Charitra spoke words of gratitude and their contribution behind ‘Chinthnam’. They thanked all supporters and well-wishers for encouraging them and requested same support for their upcoming projects.
