The well developed Mangaluru, especially in terms of education, is giving a tough competition to Bengaluru. The government should concentrate more on Manglaluru and its development as it is also financially rewarding. An international cricket stadium should be constructed here," he said, praying for grand success for the tournament.

Various international teams are participating in it, which is a big achievement for the organisers. Mangaluru is known for heat, rain, and tennis ball cricket.
