This is Holy Week for all Christians around the world. Today being Good Friday is special as it begins with Solemnity. Soon after this Christians will celebrate Easter, the day when Jesus Christ rose from the dead to deliver all sinners of the world. Let this kind of spirit prevail throughout the year and all over the world. Thanks to Spoorthi Ullal and Stanley Bantwal of Daijiworld for the fantastic coverage of the event in various churches and streets.

So nice to watch the Good Friday programs taking place in Mangalore from a long distance. So many fond memories remind us of the past school days of ours that we spent physically in Mangalore taking part in each and every Holy Week program. While good memories linger, we pray that the Holy Week will bring lots of peace and harmony for our home town with early rains so that not only there will be suffifcient water around but also a change of climate that people need badly in Mangalore.

Lack of sufficient and timely rain will also bring impact on the power supply as there will be more and more power consumption due to extreme heat. May God therefore hear all our prayers for early rains and also improved weather conditions.,
