Accidents due to negligence of drivers are ever on the increase. Very often reports appear in the press that the accidents are caused by NEGLIGENT DRIVING. In this case hope the Superintendent of Police, Udupi will seriously view the case and ensure that due compensation is paid the members of deceased man.

it is unfortunate a death of a pedestrian at maple bus stop near entrance of malpe bunder. no doubt entry to this bus stand is very narrow due to old building structures and encroachment of foot path road by hawkers and vendors. police only registered case but not yet arrested the driver. It is an unfortunate accident and police investigation will show the outcome.

Its not the negligence of the bus driver. That man was drunk & he himself jumped in front of the bus.

    Sad news... RIP...
Pedestrians have to be double careful now a days....
Claims and cases are often never won...
Powerful bus lobby will always thwart it when heat is gone....
Be careful on roads if you are walking or on 2 wheeler...

malpe is having narrow roads with lot of people around. need widening of roads is only last hope. otherwise should shift bus stand to any other place.
will only able to do changes when bjp will rule.
