Kundapur: Lorry collides with car at Maravanthe, one seriously injured

Kundapur, Mar 30: Accidents are frequently reported on NH66 here. A person had died in multiple accidents here two days ago. A car driver was seriously injured in the accident in the afternoon of Wednesday, March 29.

A Ritz car and a goods laden lorry collided at Nironi in Maravanthe gram panchayat limits, Kundapur taluk. SP office clerk of Udupi district , car driver Krishnamoorthi was injured in the accident.

He was driving the car from Honnavar to Udupi when it collided head on with the lorry. The injured were admitted immediately to Kundapur private hospital.

A case has been registered at Gangolli police station.
