Mangaluru: ‘Hi Vatt Sorgachi Nhoi' - Konkani serial on Daijiworld TV creates ripples

Mangaluru, Mar 20: 'Hi Vatt Sorgachi Nhoi', the much-awaited Konkani serial that went on air on Daijiworld TV 24x7 from February 27 has been winning appreciation from all quarters. The serial is telecast every Monday at 9.00 pm.

Jeevan D'Souza's Tomcat productions, in association with Daijiworld TV 24x7, has brought out the unique comedy-cum-family entertainer. 'Hi Vatt Sorgachi Nhoi' (This Path does Not Lead to Heaven), directed by Prem D'Souza, stars Prashanth Fernandes and ‘Noshibacho Khel’ fame Ranjitha Lewis in the lead.

Others in the cast include well-known drama artists Usha Fernandes and Shanti Shenoy, and Sinol Menezes who will be seen in the first Konkani-Tulu movie 'Ashem Zalem Kashem'.

Cyril Fernandes, Sapna Saldanha, Swetha Vas, Jeevan Vas, Hanley Coelho, Richard D'Mello, Jerome Moras, Sampath Lobo, Arun, Floyd D'Mello, Clanwin, Maclean D'Souza, Tyson D'Cunha, Prakash, Prashanth, Cliton Noronha, Sandeep Tellis and Praveen Tauro are also part of the cast.

The story and the script have been written by William Pinto. As many as 15 episodes will be aired on Daijiworld TV 24x7.

Noted musician Dolvin Kolalgiri has composed the music for the lively title song, while singer Nihal Tauro has lent his voice. Famous lyricist Wilson Kateel has penned the lyrics. The background score has been composed by Noel.

An outstanding camera work has been done by Mayur Shetty, Daniel and Prakash.

The ambient lights have been provided by Daijiworld Outdoor Unit, while the sound was worked on at Daijiworld Audio Visual Studio.

Speaking to Daijiworld.com, producer Jeevan said, "There are numerous Konkani language speaking people here in coastal Karnataka. A Konkani serial was the need of the hour. As there was no option, the coastal audience would watch Hindi and Kannada daily soaps. The first three episodes of 'Hi Vatt Sorgachi Nhoi' have met excellent response. The serial will display family values and give the message to the audience how to live in a family by taking care of each other."

'Hi Vatt Sorgachi Nhoi' is a comedy-cum-family entertainer incorporating a dramatic twist at every corner to add an element of thrill and excitement which will keep viewers engaged. The show is being viewed by the audiences as a complete entertainer with gripping storyline, coupled with some good chemistry between the lead pair.

The serial loaded with comedy and a social message will be telecast at every Monday at 9pm. The repeat telecast will be on every Wednesday at 1:30 pm and Sundays at 3 pm.

    So far the Konkani TV serial Hi /Vatt Sorgachi Nhoi is moving excellently well, wonderful and enticing entertainment from Cyril and the Kaamvali and Gharvali.

    UP TO THE MARK AND GOOD GOING UNEXPECTED EXPECTATIONS.

    APPRECIATED TV SERIAL FROM DAIJIWORLD.
    WHILE THE SERIAL DOES ENDS FEELING SAD OF WAITING FOR THE NEXT EPISODE.
