Toronto: Super hit Konkani movie 'Ek Aslyar Ek Na’ to premiere in Canada

Toronto, Nov 3: Motivated by the tremendous response received in Mangaluru, Gulf countries, USA and in Israel, the Canara World Foundation Inc (CWF) in association with Mangalorean Association of Canada (MAC) and Konkan Organization of Toronto (KOT) announces the premier screening of the movie ‘Ek Aslyar Ek Na’ (EAEN) in Canada. This is the first-ever a Mangalurean movie is screened in Canada.

The movie is scheduled to be screened at the renowned Albion Theatre, Etobicoke, Toronto on December 4 at 11.00 am. This will be the historical day for the Konkani speaking Diaspora in Canada.

The movie was premiered in Dubai on May 20 with four shows and later on was premiered in Kuwait in International School on May 27. Then the shows were arranged in Abu Dhabi followed by Sharjah and Qatar. Later the screening of movie in Israel, USA and home-town Mangaluru followed. A long wait seems to be over for those who have been waiting for the release of this super hit Konkani blockbuster. ‘EAEN’ has already become the talk of the town in Toronto for it’s interesting story line and melodious super hit songs.

The producer of this movie Frank Fernandes is of the opinion that, Konkani speaking people in Canada will welcome the movie wholeheartedly as the movie has a prominent story line, immense action and hilarious comedy which makes it worth watching.

The story line of the movie moves from a humble beginning to a different one. As the story advances, superb acting by each and every character keeps one's eyes glued to the screen.

Producers have assured people of all GCC counties that, EAEN will be screened in most of the theatres in GCC countries soon.

Viewers, who have watched 'Ek Aslyar Ek Na’, have opined that the standard of this movie can be matched to that of any films made in Bollywood including acting story and twist in the storyline, comedy, action and the melodious songs written by Wilson Kateel and the music by Vanil Veigas.

On behalf of MAC & KOT, the CWF president Max Mendes informed Daijiworld Canada that movie tickets are sold like hot cakes. He applauded the co-partner associations MAC & KOT for their enormous support in screening the first-ever Mangalurean movie on Canadian screen. Visualizing at the support and in association with MAC & KOT, he expressed his desire to screen more Konkani and Tulu movies in Canadian theatres in the near future.

As EAEN is all set to release in Canada on December 4. The whole teams of CWF, MAC & KOT are fully confident that the movie will gain a large popularity and will be watched and liked by every Konkani speaking people in Canada.
