Little Flowers Mukamar celebrates sixth anniversary in style

UAE, Oct 17: Little Flowers Mukamar (LFM), parishioners from Mukamar spread across UAE, gathered to celebrate their 6th anniversary recently in UAE.

The event started around 11.30 am under the leadership of Sandeep D’Souza with Godwin Corda and Nevil D’Silva in charge of the event as masters of ceremony.

Loads of entertainment programmes were held including music and dance. Evershine Band from Abu Dhabi entertained the audience with mind blowing music. Melrick D’Souza from Abu Dhabi semi-finalist of Gulf Voice of Mangalore season 5, UAE chapter, was the key performer with Hindi and Konkani numbers. Preema D’Souza, Dony Correa and Asha Correa were the guest singers for the event. Junior artistes Natasha Fernandes, Reev Menezes too rendered Konkani songs.

Earlier, the sixth anniversary was marked by cutting the cake by committee members of LFM.


















































 
In brief stage programme, Walter Nandalike, founder and editor-in-chief of Daijiworld Media was chief guest. Wilfred Menezes Moodubelle, Nelson Rodricks and Joseph Mathias were guests of honour. Advisors Dayan D’Souza and Lancy D’Souza, former president Praveen Nazareth and president Sandeep D’Souza were also present on the stage.


Congratulating on the occasion of sixth anniversary, Walter Nandalike hailed LFM for their unique thinking and doing something different from others. Supporting not only fellow parishioners, but also everyone in need, within capacity is always appreciated by the people, he said.

Lawrence D’Souza Palimar’s new audio album 'Istageeth' was released during the event by Nelson Rodricks. Later the hit song 'Rosa Disa' was performed by Evershine Band members

Dayan D’Souza, briefing about LFM, said that unity among the parishioners have always kept the Mukamar spirit high.

Dance shows by Betina, Danica, Samantha, Delvina and Cleaon D'Sa enthralled the audience.

Event was well attended by Mukamar parishioners and also well wishers.

    Hearty congrats to LFM fir the super success. May your future dreams come true and may always God be with you all. Was happy to see some of my best buddy's who are truly down to earth like Walter Nandalike, Dayan D'Souza, Preema, Dony Correa and Asha Correa, Sandeep and former LFM President Praveen Nazreth and for sure my all time hero Joseph Mathias. In this way, I truly recalled my awesome memory of Year 2014 November 14. Cheers guys. Rock always. With my doting regards.
