Muscat United Pangalites Monti Fest celebrations:

Muscat United Pangalites celebrated the Monthi Fest on the 12th in Ruwi. The celebrations began with a prayer session, Vinod D’costa read the word of God, childrenthen presented the prayer of the faithful in Konkani and then with the hymn Moriyek hogolsiya the showering of the flowers to the bambino of Mother Mary was held. Mrs. Shaila Machado, the President of Muscat United Pangalites welcomed the audience. A cake cutting ceremony was held for all the members who were celebrating their birthday in the month of September.



Anil Pernal proposed a toast for the occasion.

A tablue representing the traditional farmers working in the farmland was depicted by Rianna, Avelyn ,Liza, Chelsea, Sharon, Venishia, Calida, Cheryl, Tanya, Laura, Shane, Calvin, Vian, Tanish, and it wasorganized by Mr. Melwin Menezes. Duet dance in Tulu was presented by Laura D’sa and Cheryl D’sa .Evylene presented a solo .Liza, Chelsea and Sharon presented a kannada group dance. Rianna and Viona presented a dance on a rocking Hindi number. Calida Machado and Shane Menezes dance to a Konkaninumber Novem jovan and to suit the mood the novem was distributed to the audience. Renita Qadros entertained the audience with a melodious song .Various spot games , couple games and Tambola were conducted by Terry D’souza. Renita Qadros presented the vote of thanks . Traditional banana leaf dinner was served to the gathering. Lavina D’sa compered the programme. Goody bags were distributedto all the children who showered the flowers.
