M'lore: Muddu Moodubelle wins national-level Akashvani Award

Mangalore, Oct 23: The results of the all India Akashvani competition having been announced, senior exponent at Akashvani, Mangalore, Muddu Moodubelle’s tulu drama ‘Pada Pardana Panpana’ has won second prize on the national level.

The drama is created and presented by Moodubelle. The awards ceremony will be held in New Delhi.  He had also won state level award in a competition held in 2009.

Moodubelle has retired from Akashvani service after thirty years of meritorious service but still works as a guest broadcaster. He has created and presented more than 150 of dramas in Tulu and Kannada for radio transmission
