Dubai, Oct 18: Zulekha Hospitals were awarded as the winner at 4th Annual Global Architecture Excellence Award held at Bangalore India recently in the category of IT Service Management among all other Nominees from different countries shortlisted for the Award.
These awards aimed at rewarding organizations using ITSM framework for Healthcare Industry. Core Purpose of ITSM is to align IT department and the services it provides to the business, to enable IT governance, continuing services and maintaining the standards of services by achieving the reactive & proactive objectives and by focusing on technology & processes that are required to manage technology.

Driven by Aliasgar Bohari, director - IT of Zulekha Hospital, Ali and his team was instrumental in the 24-month implementation of ITSM framework which was ISO 20000-1:2005 certification from the onset at both multi-specialty hospitals in Dubai and Sharjah. The first healthcare organization to achieve ISO 20000 in the GCC when it gained 2005 standard certification in 2011.
Aliasgar, Director - IT of Zulekha Hospital is by qualification an industrial electronics engineer who did his specialization in Hardware and Networking. Having spent most of his professional career spanning over 13 years in information & communication technology, Aliasgar is a dynamic innovator who strives continuously to improve the contribution of IT in healthcare from the usual supportive role to an operational business tool and has been Instrumental in the Groups Information Technology Initiatives .
