For many years now the request from over 2 lakhs Kannadiga's from 7th biggest metro Pune has not been attended by any leading airlines to connect Pune to Mangalore by air so far.Indigo once promised to start but made it a direct flight to Cochin from Pune forgetting Mangalore on the way.Jetair also promised to start a direct fligt but seems not much interested. Our elected members for the Government also seems not much interested in the route.Without no direct flight and daily train only bus lobby is taking advantage on this route. It is very interesting to note that 3 decades back there was a direct Avro flight between two cities via Belgaum!God help Pune Kannadiga's.

Justified. Mangalore Bangalore air traffic is increasing. Once the MSEZ is fully operational, still more flights needed.

Mangalore should be connected with Mysore and Hubli as well. Lots of people travel to Mangalore from these places for medical treatment.

We have 4 state ministers, and 2 union minister so it will be more helpfull for them to visit on an urgent political issues.

It will also be usefull for common people to meet union ministers in Delhi for any acts or situation, And more over there is no connectivity from IXE to any northern cities.

It will also be usefull for people who wants to travel Agra, shimla, Nainital, Kashmir, Amritsar on a tourism basis.

There are so many Manipuri and north indian students studying in Mangalore, manipal and Moodbidri.

Atlast Mangalore is now a fastest growing city, Its one of the city in south which is always in Lime Light.

My heart beats for Mangalore, I want to see my city a Clean, educated, developed and as a Unique city.
