C-Voter survey shows clear majority for Congress in Karnataka

Bangalore, Mar 5 : While the Election Commission is busy finalizing dates for the Karnataka assembly elections, C-Voter, a private research agency of repute, has come up with the latest round of survey results for the third time in the last four months, revealing clear majority for Congress party.

On Monday, Kannada news channel TV9 published the survey results, which predicted 118-126 seats for Congress in Karnataka. While ruling BJP is set to face heavy loss with only 62-70 seats, JD(S) share is expected to be between 19-25. The much talked about Yeddyurappa's KJP will get only 4-8 seats. Others will get 6-10 seats.

The opinions were collected from prospective voters in the month of Febraury 2013.

It may be recalled that in December 2012 Suvarna News TV had published the C-Voter survey results based on voters' mood in November 2013. The survey had claimed Congress would get 115 out of the 224 seats in the Karnataka assembly.

In January 2013, Tehelka had published C-Voter survey which again predicted Congress victory with 133 seats.

I dont deny BJP corrupted, but fact that last 50 years congress rules karnataka & what developement they did even JDS is same.They did tremondus corruption & they know how to escape but BJP corruption comparatively less & as well they dont know how to escape also. iam tottally against congress party because we people in karnatake don't want to create a delhi in bangalore by bringing congress into power as ladies we afraid of congress party. bjp is corrupted we admit and they fight too but that is in between them not hurting the people by their gundagiri or murder . if congress comes then again the same the grabbing of government lands will be legalised for rich to encrochment and by using power so people need peace not violence . bjp comes atleast the common people will not have any trouble. this is the truth and no one can lie about this.they will bring the same laws of delhi politics to bangalore and make it a worst place to live.

If C-Voters going to predict correct result, than why election commision wasting hard paid our tax money to conduct election. Instead distribute money to all political parties and for same reservation crowds (backward, forward, minority, majority etc, who without any hardship in there life want luxuries). But one funny thing is most of the congress MLA candidates are so young:), so all likely chance is even if they win this election there will be by-election within next 5 years.

Roads, wells, electricty, lights on the road, regular electricty to farmers, etc. should put forward. If congress can do something, then we are with them, else ...we will think. Inflation, Fiscal Defecit,Current Account Defecit are the main issues facing us, we need continous electricity, good infrastructure, and communal harmony, the essence of peace, happiness and tranqulity. The manefestos prepared by the political parties should be addressed with a report card to showcase every 20 months,the commitments and ground reality, if you cannot match it, then you should resign and if theft/ corruption involved immediate suspension with no participating in the elections for the next 15 years.

The people who trust TV9 opinion poll must trust the opinion poll, which says 48% of Indians want Narendra Modi as their PM, where as only 16% want Amul baby as their PM. If Congress comes to power in Karnatak, then definitely BJP will come to Power at centre. You can not be ive." Dont change the direction of Umbrella according to your convenience. I feel that definety congress will improve its tally in Karnatak and BJP will loose many seats. But TV9 opinion says congress vote share will remain same as last time ie. 35% no improvement. So dont feel happy. Congress may do better only because KJP taking away 6% of Votes. What do you say Khangress Wala? Do you agree with me?

The change must come to Karnataka,otherwise there will be revolution. People are just fed up with BJP because there was systematic suppression of minorities with social disorder. This should not happen in a democratic country like India. I am sure Congress/JDS/KJP are the stake holders in the next crucial election. A week is long time in politics.
Election is still 2 months away.
At this time Congress is not sure shot of victory. BJP is down but not out. JD(S), KJP and BSR Congress are down and out.
If KJP performs very poorly in ULB elections lot of KJP supporters may shift to BJP during assembly election. The problem for congress is they donot have a clear state level leader and Central leaders Sonia and Rahul are Savakalada Nanyagalu. BJP has a clear state level leader in Shettar and they have charismatic leaders from Modi to Sonia to Advani who are much more popular than Sonia and Rahul.
At the moment congress has an advantage. But if BJP gains 3 percent votes from KJP it will be hung assembly with BJP will be single largest party.

In the event of Congress taking over BJP in Karnataka,I will say/offer KOTI KOTI PRANAM....South India's only BJP govt in Karnataka had enough opportunities and resources to show that BJP is party with difference..unfortunately they showed that BJP had differences with every issues...Corruptions and greed for power are the main reason for their present state of affairs.I think if Congress gives full efforts in fulfilling common man's aspiration BJP sans BSY will not come to power in Karnataka for another decade.

Let us compare the C-Voters Survey results from Nov’12 to Jan’13 to Mar’13. It shows 115 to 133 to 126 Seats. It means from Jan’13 to Mar’13, Congress already lost 7 Seats!! It is surprising that they need to conduct survey 3 times in a span of four months? According to latest internal BJP Survey based on party cadres’ opinion, no party will get majority in Karnataka whereby KJP and JDS will spoil the game for Congress as well as BJP too
