The president said that UAEAS has, since its inception in the year 2004, come a long way to earn the recognition of the community back home and in the UAE. "This has been possible mainly due to the hard work and relentless efforts by past and present committee members and also due to the fantastic support received, year on year, from our Samaj Bandhavas and well wishers," he said.

He also mentioned that the committee would want every member to not only come up with ideas to achieve their goals and objectives but also volunteer to assist the committee in working towards achieving them. He further reiterated that UAEAS is a collection of friends and like-minded persons to whom one can speak to at any time and get a willing ear to hear ideas as well as concerns.
