M'lore: Bondel Church Organizes Christmas Tableau at Various Locations

Mangalore, Dec 17: Christmas tableau organized by Church of St Lawrence, Bondel was held at various locations on Sunday December 16.

The programme began on a high note with skits, dance and carols. More than 100 artists and volunteers worked for the success of the program.

The skit depicting the life and teachings of Jesus and on the life of St Lawrence were depicted in the tableau. Sweets were distributed to the children by Santa Clause as the choir sang Jingle Bells.

Fr Andrew D'Souza, parish priest, Bondel and Fr Patrick Sequeira, assistant parish priest, Bondel shared the message of peace and love.

The script for the play was written by James D'Souza while Maxim Radrigues directed. The theme song was composed by Rony Bondel. Rudolf Pinto, vice president, parish council and Reginald D'Souza, secretary, parish council were present on the occasion.

People gathered in large number as the tableau moved from Pachanady at 6 pm, reached Kavoor at 7.30pm, Bondel at 8.30pm, Padavinangadi at 9.30pm and Maryhill at 10.30pm. It was wonderful to watch the message of Christmas come alive on stage.

Wilfred Alvares thanked the gathering and Sujay D'Silva coordinated the program.
