Beltangady: Navodaya Trust Distributes Uniforms to Self-help Groups

Beltangady, Nov 17: "The state government will be urged to provide loan to self-help groups at 1 percent interest", said MN Rajendra Kumar, managing trustee of Navodaya Gram Vikas and president of SCDCC bank.
 
He addressed the gathering during the uniform distribution programme organized by Navodaya Charitable trust to its members at the Dakshina Kannada central cooperative bank premises here on Thursday November 15.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that Navodaya is known for providing opportunity to women in the society. They have progressed as they have completely made use of the opportunity provided to them.
 
"To be a good person in life, one has to help a few people and this opportunity is been provided by the Navodaya", he added.
 
Adding, he said that Navodaya has shown its unique nature compared to other groups by showing woman power.
 
The Chaitanya Vima cheque was distributed, new self-help groups were inaugurated and uniforms were distributed to its members during the occasion.
 
Niranjan Bavanthabettu, director of SCDCC bank welcomed the gathering. Nithyananda Shetty compered the programme. Ujire CA bank president E Sundar Gowda delivered the vote of thanks.

CA bank presidents like N S Gokhale, Rajashree S Heggade, Sathish Kashipatta, Dharnappa Poojary, Yogish Kumar KS, Nemiraaja Aariga, Narayan Rao, Laxman Gowda, Muniraj Azri, Pushparaj Hegde and Duggappa Gowda of cooperative union were present among others.
