Mumbai: Chinnara Bimba Celebrates Children's Day

Mumbai, Nov 16: Kala Jagathu Mumbai’s Chinnara Bimba institution celebrated Children’s Day and organized cultural talents competition at Radhabai Bhandary Estate’s Bunts hall, Kurla East here on Wednesday November 14.

Surendra A Poojary, secretary of Saicare Logistics Limited inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp.

Aikkala Harish Shetty, vice-president of Global Bunts Association presided over the programme.

Gopal C Shetty MLA of Borvali constituency, Shankar B Shetty, president of Bunts Association Mumbai were the chief guests for the occasion.  

“Chinnara Bimba Institution is a role model. Considering nationalism as the main subject and inculcating values in students to lead a good life is an excellent effort by the institution, let this last for long,” said Surendra A Poojary .

“Chinnara Bimba Institution is due to the efforts of Prakash Bhandary and family, and we are fortunate to take part in this occasion. This institution inculcates the culture of South India and upholds dignity of life. The hard training and education which will be helpful for children in the future, let the institution shine through the knowledge of children. Children celebrate this day with great joy. In our childhood this day was only reserved for speeches. In villages we used to gather annually and celebrate with joy, but present generation is lucky to enjoy in a much better way”, said MLA Gopal C Shetty.

Prakash B Bhandary prominent person of Chinnara Bimba, founder president Pooja P Bhandary, secretary P Ninana Bhandhary were presided in the forum.

Professor Seetharam R Shetty delivered key note address, Poornima Shetty welcomed and compered programme. 

Ankitha Ramesh Rai, Nilisha Shetty, Apeksha Shetty felicitated the guests. Sathish Shetty thanked. Various cultural programmes were performed on the occasion.
