Mumbai, Sep 12: Senior Congress leader and noted political thinker Dr Ratnakar Mahajan has passed away, leaving behind a legacy of scholarly political analysis, forthright views and progressive thinking in Maharashtra.

Mahajan was known for his detailed and study-based articulation of political and social issues. He was regarded as an outspoken leader who consistently expressed his views on matters concerning the state and the country.
