Blow to JD(S) - Two Senior Leaders Set to Leave Party

Daijiworld Media Network – Bangalore (PS)

Bangalore, Nov 12: With state assembly elections approaching, time has now come for 'dissatisfied' politicians to leave their party and join the rival camps. Though officially the current state government still has about six months to continue in power, it seems like Yeddyurappa's move to form a new party may well mean that the government may fall anytime.

Puttegowda and M Vishwanath

Now, JD(S) which was a step ahead of other political parties in initiating the election campaign has faced humiliation in its own native.

Shravanabelagola MLA C S Puttegowda and Sakleshpur former MLA H M Vishwanath are on the verge of quitting the party, which will be a major blow to the JD(S).

The duo have been openly accusing JD(S) leader H D Revanna of dictatorial style of administration and contemplating a shift either to Congress or Yeddyurappa’s yet-to-be-launched KJP.

Yeddyurappa, known to be the political rival of the Gowda family, is said to have lost no time in calling up the two leaders and inviting them to join KJP.

Many other leaders who are fed up with Revanna's alleged dictatorship are set to blow the conch of dissidence.

Puttegowda is more likely to join Congress as he met Congress leader Dr Parameshwara on Saturday, and expressed his willingness to join the party.

Both leaders of the JDS,Vishwanath and Putte Gowada are good parliamentarians who used to represent JDS on the TV debate on important issues. Both are Vokkaligas in Vkkagaliga strog hold Assembly segment so that there may be considerable tilt to oppn favor (Which party they inclined to in next Assembly election)Leaders may come or go JDS will not cross 30-35 MLAs.One side HDK penetrating Congrss/BJP area but in the same time leaving his area to other party to penetrate. We can expect too hung Assembly result in next Assembly election
