Mumbai: Bharat Co-op Bank’s 38th Branch Opens in Ghansoli

Mumbai, Apr 22: The 38th branch of Bharat Co-operative Bank (Mumbai) Limited was inaugurated at Sector 3, Plot Number 15, Shiv Complex, Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai, on Thursday April 21.  Bharat Co-operative Bank is promoted by metro-based Billavar Association.

The Bank’s former chairman and All India Billava Federation president Jaya C Suvarna inaugurated the Ghansoli branch on Thursday morning. Bank chairman Vasudev R Kotian inaugurated the ATM kiosk.  Corporator Sanjay Patil and Prakash Patel inaugurated the banking services and locker facilities.


Speaking on the occasion, Suvarna said that the Bank aims to improve the economic position of ordinary people who form a chunk of their customers and who trust the Bank to realize their dreams and aspirations.

Vasudev Kotian said that the Bank is a leader among the co-operative banks in the metro due to up gradation of technology in banking services and efficiency of its employees.

Vidhwan Sadashiv Shanti performed various religious rites at the new branch.  Ravindranath and Jyothi R Kotian were present during the ‘puja’ celebrations.

Ghansoli Mookambika temple managing trustee N C Shetty, vice-president H V Kotian, honorary secretary Suresh Kotian, Bombay Bunts Association vice-president Shyam N Shetty, Federation of Hotel and Restaurant Association Maharashtra’s former president K Jagannat Shetty, Malayalee Samaj president M Ramachandran, entrepreneurs N G Poojary, M N Karkera, Sundar Poojary, Dhiraj Shetty, and D D Poojary, Bank directors M B Kukyan, L V Amin, Raja V Salian, Jyothi K Suvarna, M B Sanil, Y Nagesh, Mohan G Poojary, Chandrashekar S Poojary, N Nithyanand, Bhaskar M Salian, and Ratan U Sanil, CEO B K Amin, and bank customers were present on the occasion.

The Bank’s chief general mangers C R Mulky, Anil Kumar R Amin, deputy general manager Professor Shekar Poojary, assistant general manager Vivek S Shanbagh, Suresh S Salian, Shobha Dayanand, and Nithyanand D Kotian were also present.

Ghansoli branch manager Ravindranath K Kotian welcomed the gathering.  Assistant branch manager Nikhit Nandalike proposed the vote of thanks.
