Hyderabad, Apr 17 (PTI) Adam Gilchrist is not known to just hang in there while some other batsman does the scoring but the Kings XI Punjab skipper said this is exactly what he was doing when his teammate Paul Valthaty was demolishing Deccan Chargers in their IPL match here.
Gilchrist lavished praise on Valthaty for producing another blinder of an innings in the team's eight-wicket win over Deccan Chargers.
High on confidence after his match-winning century in their previous match against Chennai Super Kings, Valthaty proved that his effort against the defending champions the other night was no flash in the pan, and Gilchrist was naturally delighted.
"He has had a very busy couple of days with messages and all, but he has dealt with it very well. We complemented each other very well through phases.
