Mangaluru, Aug 29: Mangaluru university vice chancellor professor P Subrahmanya Yadapadithaya was honoured with the best vice chancellor award out of 50 vice chancellors in the country during the year 2022. The award was presented to him on August 27 during the second Higher Education and Innovation Summit held at New Delhi.

The award was presented to him considering his various educational activities and the steps taken during the Covid pandemic.

Professor Yadpadithaya said that the national award is due to the university syndicate, education parishad, deans, university heads, principals of all the six colleges, teaching and non-teaching staff, researchers, students and people.
