Mumbai: BSKB association, Gopalakrishna public trust celebrates Krishnashtami

Mumbai, Aug 19: BSKB association and Gopalkrishna Public trust celebrated Krishnashtami in the renovated Gokula Mandira, Sion on Thursday evening, August 18.

Poojas and rituals were held from evening till night by chief priest Srinivas Bhat Daregudde, Gopala Bhat Kidiyoor, Vidwan Krishnaraja Upadhyaya, Gururaja Bhat and Nagaraja Aithal.

Harish Kumar and the party presented saxophone music. Gracy Singh and the party sang songs. Bharati Nagaraj and Radhika Rao and pupils sang devotional songs.

BSKBA and Gopalakrishna Public trust president Dr Suresh S Rao Kateel, BSKBA first lady Vijayalaxmi Suresh Rao, vice president Vaman Holla, secretary A P K Pothi, treasurer CA Haridas Bhat, joint secretary Chitra Melmane and Prashanth Herle, joint treasurer Ganesh Bhat, Gopalkrishna trust member B Ramananda Rao, Krishna Acharya, Ramavitala Kalluraya, ladies wing president Sahana A Pothi, Gokula Bhajana Mandali committee and media committee president I K Prema S Rao, Krishna Y Shetty, Ashok Shetty, Madhusoodan Agarwal, Dr Prem Agarwal, P D Shetty, Chandrashekar Bhat and other office bearers and a large number of devotees took part.

BSKBA and GKB trust office bearers have said that Haridas literature and devotional music programme will be held on August 19 evening under the aegis of Prafulla Urval of IITC and B R Shetty of B R Restaurant group, Mumbai.
