Dubai: Traditional Fervour Marks Sathyanarayana Puja of Mogaveers UAE

Dubai, Apr 10:  Mogaveers UAE organized a Samoohik Shree Satyanarayana Puja at Karama Centre Hall, Karama, here on Friday April 8.


Neetha Puthran, Laxmi Salian, Nalini Deepak, Rekha Kunder and Geetha Puthran inaugurated the puja ceremony.


The puja formalities started with Purohit Raghu Bhat conducting the Shree Satyanarayan Puja in a traditional way explaining the benefits of the puja to the devotees.  On behalf of the Mogaveers UAE Community, Chandrashekar Salian and his wife Dr Jayashree Salian sat on the pedestal to accept the blessings of Lord Satyanarayana.

Community members from all major associations of Mangalore living in UAE actively participated in the event with great respect and dedication.


Mogaveers UAE Bhajana Mandali and Rajarajeshwari Bhajana Mandali carried out the bhakti bhajana songs rendering one after the other with support of the background music provided by Rajesh Kuthar and his team.

Mogaveers UAE also announced their annual ‘blood donation campaign’ they conduct every year which is a unique event of its kind.  This year they will have it during the National Day of UAE and dedicate it to the country.


On the puja occasion just before the Maha Mangalarathi, Ganesh Rai, former president of Karnataka Sangha Sharjah announced some of the important points one should remember as a guidelines to their children to make them understand the greatness of the religion and practice it in a right way.


At around 1.00 PM the Maha Mangalarathi took place and all the devotees assembled in a queue to have a glimpse of the Lord in the beautifully decorated Mantap on the stage, surrender and attain blessings with offering.

    Dear Mogaveers,
    I was happy to have this opportunity to be present in this Shri.Maha Satyanaryana Pooja and blessed with Lord Shri.Satyanarayana. The pooja was well arranged and I Congratulations for the entire volunteer TEAM and the managing committee for the well conducted Pooja function.
    Apart I could kindly request you to kindly see that few people who attended the Pooja are unable to understand Tulu language and it’s requested to make the announcement in Kannada also. I wish all the best for the MOGAVEERS UAE and to come up with some activities in future.

    Congratulations for the entire managing committee for the well conducted Pooja function.

    Having ourselves participated in the Pooja , we can say that it has been performed with highest devotion and all rituals followed .

    The Pooja was well attended by one and all and the entire Pooja hall was filled with overwhelmed devotees who carried with them blessings of Almighty.
