Mangaluru: DC relaxes restrictions on closure of business establishments

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru/Udupi (DV)

Mangaluru, Aug 4: Deputy commissioner Dr K V Rajendra has relaxed the previously issued restriction order and extended the closing time of business establishments throughout the district from 6 pm to 9 pm from August 5 onwards for the next three days.

In an earlier order, the DC had ordered that all business establishments except essential services should shut down by 6 PM to prevent any untoward incidents following the serial murders in the district.

It is said that from August 5 business establishments will be allowed to run till 9 pm instead of 6 pm. But liquor shops can run only till 6 pm. The prohibitory orders under Section 144 will continue as usual till further order.

Every hour they change rules on the orders of puppets,. Why India need IAS or IPS officers? They can't decide anything on their own. Like governors and president DC too can be any layman. In India educated ruled by rogues and illiterates.

No coordination between SP & DC. Why should poor business people suffer? You can put restrictions in places where the problem is happening. Gadipar all unwanted people who create problems like SHaran pump well, Attavar. Sheva, & some VHP BD guys PFE DYF some guys all will be fine. These are the biggest culprits

I don't think these officers have passed OPS/IAS. Childish and confused orders.

Sir, reading contradictory orders from police commissioner and from DC, one doesn't understand which to follow; utter confusion in which the common middle class and below are getting ground; for the rich, it doesn't make any difference! It appears this is the last nail in the coffin of the poor citizens, already battered by high inflation, for no fault of theirs!! Please spare the common man!!

This shows a very confused administration, I am afraid. Lack of effective keadership, lack of proper application of mind. Why the heck Mangalore City? Problems are at the outskirts right?? If you only want to relax curfew hours and prolong the ordeal, what are police forces for??
