Mumbai: Inter school elocution competitions held at S M Shetty institute

Mumbai, Jul 30: S M Shetty education institute held inter school elocution competitions to celebrate its silver jubilee at the school indoor auditorium, Povai on Saturday afternoon, July 30. S M Shetty educational institute president B R Shetty inaugurated the competitions.

Students from more than 75 schools took part in the competitions. S M Shetty institute vice president Rathnaker Shetty Mundkoor, Vasanth N Shetty Palimar, secretary C S Uttam Shetty, treasurer CA Jagadish B Shetty, convener CA Harish Shetty, S M Shetty organization members Mahesh S Shetty, Dr Manohar S Hegde, Ravindranath M Bhandary, Nishith Shetty, sponsor’s representative, advocate B B Shetty, S M Shetty college principal Dr Sridhar Shetty, state board school principal Seema Sablok, chief manager Dr Sandeep Singh were on the dais.

The president felicitated S M Shetty institute talented student, sports champion Apeksha Fernandes and handed over a cheque of Rs 1.5 lacs to her.

The programme began with school prayer and Ganesha Vandane. Seema Sablok welcomed and gave an introduction. Teachers Reena Poojary and Reshma Rao compered the programme and rendered a vote of thanks.
