Mangaluru, Jul 25: Some Bajarang Dal workers played the spoil sport at a student party in a pub in city on Monday July 25.

It is said that the students of a private college were doing a farewell party in the Recycle - The Lounge Pub, when several Bajrang Dal workers barged into the pub, hurled abuses at the partying crowd and force-stopped the event.

Police officers who arrived at the spot dispersed the crowd.

This incident has shortly occured after the students of a private college drew eyeballs after a controversial truth-or-dare act in a house party.

My question here is politicians those who are in Mangaluru/Udupi do not go to pubs ? They do not arrange rave parties? I feel, one group is involved to spoil the reputation of a prestigious college which is not at all accepted. Few days back, these same people viralled a video of the students in social media. Some students finished their final exams. So, before departure, they must have arranged get together farewell party. One of the boys from student group ditch his own friends by revealing the facts outside to these illegal policing group. Otherwise, how come some students of particular college is targeted ? Its given to understand, many students from different colleges were partying at different pubs. Why they were not attacked? Dear students, please do not ditch your own friends......What you sow now will you reap back soon. Through some reliable source it was given to understand that Bhajrang dal ppl just asked the students to vacate ...just said go ....go. Before that pub employees came to know the arrival of the group and asked the students to leave the place. By the time everyone completed their billing procedures, group entered and asked them to go. No one was beaten or attacked. After the college hours if anything happens, college is not responsible. Parents/guardians will take responsibility where their children are going. Ultimately they are the ones who look after them in any problems. Fringe group, you dont take responsibility of children please.

You are totally confused bai. I go and sit in pubs even in the afternoons for a cool beer. Every time I am shocked to see students in uniforms sipping beer. You can find even girls smoking in the smoking room. Remember, these are mostly in their 17s and 18s. I always wish BD or KD.. someone to enter the pub and send the children out of the pubs.

Mangalore is going to be a smart city and the government is trying to promote DK as a touristic attraction. If these Immoral police, Bajrangdal and vhp start porking their nose in others way of life, who will venture to visit any touristic place.? visitors/tourists come with purpose of sight seeing, enjoy recreation facilities, beach resorts, fun fair of course good food and bar & restaurants. Whataboutery won't help. Just because I don't want to do something doesn't mean I have the right to stop others from doing it. If the constitution of India allows something, these idiots are no-one to take the law into their hands. If you had any respect for India, you would have respect for the fundamental right of freedom guaranteed by the Indian constitution. I just watched the video of the incident. First of all this incident occured in the same pub where muthaliks goons had attacked a decade ago. Secondly, police who arrived were requesting and escorting the goons outside instead if arresting them. Its a such a shame to the mangaloreans. i dont expect anything from the elected representatives as the highly educated people hav voted for this. Other thing is i wonder why dont these things happen to other bigger pubs? Expecting police commissioner to do some formality sake arrests in a day or two.
