Dubai, Mar 31: Emirates India Fraternity Forum UAE organized a felicitation programme to honour Janab K M Sharief, general secretary of Popular Front of India at Comfort Inn Hotel here, recently.
He delivered his speech on the topic ‘Equal rights, equal justice for all’. The programme was presided over by EIFF president Janab Nasir Hussain. A leading entrepreneur and associate of EIFF, Janab Ashraf Ummer Khan was invited as the chief guest for the evening.
Janab Nasir Hussain welcomed the guests and explained briefly about EIFF's social activities in various fields and its future plans. Janab KM Sharief briefed about the objectives and goals of Popular Front of India.
In his address he mentioned that the Muslims in India are 7.5% backward than the scheduled castes and scheduled tribes. He asked the audience to support PFI for the empowerment of the community. Furthermore he said we should unite to defeat the communal forces and try to strengthen the secularism and protect the democracy of India.
He explained how the normal life of middle class people in India is becoming from bad to worse every day. He spoke about the condition of Muslims in states like West Bengal even though the Left Front has been ruling there since last 30 years.
The programme was attended by more than 130 people. Janab Majeed Aladka delivered the vote of thanks.
