Mumbai: Karnataka Janapada Parishat holds three programmes together

Mumbai, Jul 23: Karnataka Janapada Parishat Maharashtra unit held interaction on Janapada culture, Ashada evening and Janapada songs at Bantara Bhavan Annex complex, Kurla east on July 23.

The parishat Maharashtra unit president Dr R K Shetty inaugurated the programme saying that the parishat progresses with the inspiration and enthusiasm of Parishat president T Thimmegowda.

Janapada artist Basavaraja Masooti Solapur, vice president Dr Surendra Kumar Hegde, secretary Ashok Pakkala, treasurer Ganesh G Naik, joint secretary Padmanabha Sasihitlu, joint treasurer Kusuma G Poojary, ladies wing president Anitha U Shetty, cultural division president Srinivas P Safalya and other office bearers were present.

The office bearers felicitated Dr R K Shetty and Srinivas Safalya. The invited teams performed Janapada songs. Basavaraja Masooti Solapur and party conducted a cultural programme. Padmanabha Sasihitlu compered the cultural programme. Sushila S Devadiga sang a prayer. Dr Surendra Kumar Hegde welcomed and gave an introduction. Karnur Mohan Rai compered the programme. Ashok Pakkala rendered a vote of thanks.
